Overview

We are working with a leading commercial law firm in Belfast that is looking to expand its Corporate Team. They are seeking a few new team members across different PQE levels, from 2–10 years. This is an exciting opportunity for solicitors with transactional corporate experience — or commercial contracts experience with some exposure to corporate deals — to join a dynamic and growing team working on high-value matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and company reorganisation.
• Drafting and negotiating SPAs, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Advising corporate clients across a range of sectors.
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex corporate projects.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Qualified solicitor with transactional corporate or commercial contracts experience.
• PQE range: 2–10 years.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Excellent client management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ambition to develop further in corporate transactions (particularly relevant for more junior candidates).
