Job description

We are pleased to be working with a very high quality independent chartered insurance brokerage with a fantastic reputation and currently experiencing excellent growth. They are well known to be a modern and dynamic business able to provide a fantastic working environment and genuine career progression.

You will be a joining a relatively small team, working with the account executives to provide day to day internal management and broking of a portfolio of general commercial insurance business through designated Insurer panels as well as open market broking.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing the insurance programmes for a portfolio of clients, including the provision of technical analysis and alternative programme design, including re-broking.
• Handle New Business, Renewals and Adjustments including reviewing the adequacy of the covers and suitability of the terms being offered.
• Provide excellent service to clients at all times, responding to their needs and changes as they arise.
• Maintain good market knowledge including keeping up to date with new insurance products/solutions and be able to advise, compare and discuss existing products.

Ideal applicants will have a good working knowledge of most areas of commercial insurance including property, casualty and motor classes.

Progress towards CII qualifications would be preferred and will be fully supported. You will have a positive attitude and great attention to detail with excellent customer service skills. Previous use of Acturis, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
