A local care home is seeking a part-time Cook to join their team in Chedgrave, Norfolk. You will work 30 hours per week, preparing and serving meals while ensuring dietary needs are met. We have an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join the team at Beauchamp House, our residential care home, working 30 hours per week across a two‑week rota: Week 1 – 7.30am to 6pm, Monday/Saturday/Sunday; Week 2 – 7.30am to 6pm, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday.

Qualifications and expectations:
You will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment with an organised approach to tasks, alongside a good understanding of the food industry, costs and working to a set budget. A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is essential, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate strong communication skills with an adaptable approach to work. Ideally you will have some knowledge of relevant legislation such as Health and Safety and the Food Safety Act; however full training can be provided.
Beauchamp House is our residential care home in the village of Chedgrave, near Loddon in South Norfolk. The home provides short‑term and full‑time care and support, including specialist care and support for people living with dementia.
