Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an experienced Band 3 Cook for the catering team at Braidvalley Hospital in Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. This full-time position offers a pay rate of £12.31 per hour with a commitment of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, including a holiday fund. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high quality meals in a healthcare environment and can work confidently within established food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present a range of meals to a consistently high standard
  • Follow national nutritional guidelines and Trust food hygiene procedures
  • Support the delivery of meals to patients, staff and visitors, including service within a café setting
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well organised working environment
  • Work effectively as part of the catering team to meet service targets and mealtime schedules
Essential Qualifications and Training
  • City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation or equivalent
