Overview

A well-established law firm in Bromsgrove is currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary or Paralegal to join its growing team on a full-time, on-site basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in residential conveyancing to provide crucial support to the Head of Property Services. You will not run your own caseload or undertake fee-earning responsibilities but will play a key role in the smooth running of residential property transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Head of Property Services throughout the conveyancing process
  • Drafting SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions and Transfer Deeds
  • Managing AML onboarding procedures
  • Producing case management letters
  • Opening and closing files
  • Liaising with clients and estate agents to provide timely updates
  • Handling a variety of administrative tasks associated with residential conveyancing
Candidate requirements
  • A minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in residential conveyancing is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of conveyancing procedures
  • Excellent communication, telephone and typing skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and use initiative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • A team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment
