Travel & Working Arrangements

Travel – Required in the office 3 days per week and 2 days remote. Site visits when required.

Role

This position supports the Silos MSSS SEP1&2 CE&I design team in delivering, supporting other teams delivering, and checking Programmable Electronic System (PES) based Control System designs and updates to meet functional and business needs. Note that the implementation, testing and commissioning of these designs is undertaken by other dedicated site‑based teams and thus is outside the scope of this role.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Academic Qualification: Minimum HNC
• Professional Qualification: Minimum Incorporated Engineer
• Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external multi‑discipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to other team members and disciplines
• Providing support to Commissioning
• Willingness to support early‑career engineers

Desirable Experience

• Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multi‑discipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards
