JOB DETAILS

SALARY: £17.22 per Hour + Benefits

LOCATION: Canary Wharf, Central London (E14)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Day Shift, 7am to 7pm, 4on, 4off Shift Pattern (48 Hours per Week)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Control Room Supervisor / CCTV Security Operations Centre Team Leader with proven control room experience and the ability to manage incident response effectively.

As a Control Room Supervisor / CCTV Security Operations Centre Team Leader you will lead a small team of 4 security officers to monitor CCTV, coordinate patrols and ensure risks are managed professionally, including protest activity.

Working in a high-profile setting, the Control Room Supervisor / CCTV Security Operations Centre Team Leader will be confident under pressure, able to provide accurate reporting and support officers in maintaining site safety and protection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate CCTV, alarms, radios, telephones and key distribution systems
• Direct patrols and assist in incident management with the Manager
• Maintain accurate logs and write clear, concise reports
• Liaise with clients, colleagues and visitors in a professional manner
• Support training for new officers and complete assessment forms
• Take calm, decisive action in challenging or emergency situations
• Handle sensitive information with discretion

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a corporate control room environment
• Experience with CCTV operations and crisis management
• CCTV SIA Licence required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills including Outlook and reporting systems
• Ability to act calmly under pressure and make sound decisions
• Flexible to work days, nights and weekends on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
• Knowledge of Timegate system advantageous
• Attention to detail with strong report writing skills
• Capable of handling confidential and sensitive information
