A UK recruitment firm is seeking a Contract Management Professional to oversee and manage commercial contracts particularly within the NHS sector. This role entails negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in NHS managed service contracts and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competence in the UK diagnostic and healthcare market is essential, alongside a proactive and motivated approach to role responsibilities.
Salary: up to 72.5k dependent upon experience
Bonus: 15%
Location: would consider Home or Hybrid working dependent upon the location of the applicant.

A solid, practical understanding of tender and procurement regulations, as well as the legal aspects of commercial contract negotiation is essential. The candidate must have hands‑on experience managing NHS managed service contracts and a strong understanding of the UK diagnostic and healthcare market.

In this role, you will support the Commercial Team and the Contracts and Bids Team Manager by providing the contract management expertise needed to negotiate and execute Commercial Contracts with NHS customers, Primary MSC providers, and sub‑contractor partner suppliers during both tender activities and post‑award phases. You will require a strong grasp of the legal and technical requirements of Managed Service Contracts, Commercial Contracts, and Partner Supplier sub‑contracts, along with a robust understanding of the key diagnostic technologies used in pathology laboratories. Strong commercial awareness, excellent time‑management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset are essential. There may be some travel requirements within the UK and Ireland related to the responsibilities of this role.
