You'll own operational performance, drive continuous improvement, and spearhead new start-up projects—all while building strong partnerships that shape the future of logistics. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • Start-Up & Project Oversight: Kick off the day by reviewing progress on new site launches or strategic projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and customer expectations are aligned.
  • Customer Engagement: Host or prepare for customer meetings to discuss performance, explore growth opportunities, and present data-driven recommendations for supply chain improvements.
  • Operational Performance Review: Analyse daily KPIs and operational dashboards with your leadership team, addressing any deviations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Resource & Planning Alignment: Collaborate with operations management team to adjust resource plans based on volume forecasts, seasonal peaks, and customer requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Team Development: Lead Gemba walks, confirm standards, and coach team members on process improvements while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and customer-centricity.

  • Bring Commercial Acumen & Customer Focus: You're commercially driven, understand how to make operations profitable (e.g., cost per square foot), and can partner with Business Development on bids, tenders, and growth opportunities.
  • Excel at Change Management: You're comfortable navigating complex transitions, introducing new processes, and aligning multiple stakeholders across different customer accounts.
  • Have a Strong Operational Background: Experience in warehousing, e-commerce, and ideally automation gives you the edge to deliver innovative, efficient solutions.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: You've worked with multiple customers, understand their evolving needs, and can translate insights into tailored solutions that strengthen partnerships and drive long-term success.
