A leading conservation organization located in Aberdeen City is seeking to hire a Communications Officer. This role involves developing and maintaining the organization's publication and website while managing social media channels to effectively engage the public. Candidates should be university graduates with strong writing skills and an interest in digital marketing. Experience may qualify candidates for a senior position. This position offers opportunities for creative engagement with key stakeholders.
The incumbent will be responsible to develop and maintain OPCFHK’s publication and website as well as manage Facebook and other social media as effective communication tools to engage the general public. He/she is also required to conduct desktop research for content development, keep updated on online marketing trends, and work with other team members to develop effective engagement activities through online channels among the general public/key stakeholders. In addition, he/she needs to identify suitable online channels to increase the Foundation’s exposure, identify potential online media partners for the Foundation’s public campaigns or fundraising activities or events. He/She will assist in the Foundation’s media events and pitching.
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Contract Senior Communications Officer.
