A global engineering firm is seeking a part-time Subcontract Administrator in Dutton, UK. In this role, you will assist in contract administration, data gathering, and performance monitoring. The job requires at least three days of in-person attendance each week. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and experience in contract management. The expansion of an existing process facility located on a nuclear site in Capenhurst, Cheshire (UK) will increase the deconversion of waste from the Uranium fuel enrichment process. The facility is being expanded in response to changing market dynamics and will provide a major component of the UK’s nuclear energy security strategy. The project scope included the planning of Front‑End Engineering Design (FEED), design optioneering, production of a concept design and is transitioning into the delivery of FEED and construction of enabling works. A follow‑on EPCM contract may be awarded.
In this role you will assist Subcontract Administrators in completing routine duties, closeout, data gathering, document preparation, presentations and training sessions. You will prepare status reports, monitor areas of subcontract performance, and investigate subcontract problems. The position is designated as part‑time telework and may require at least three days of in‑person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‑person schedules will be determined by the individual and the supervisor in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
