Job summary

A leading NHS teaching trust in Oxford is seeking a radiologist to join the paediatric radiology team, providing high-quality diagnostic services and supporting on-call arrangements. The ideal candidate will have an interest in paediatric interventional imaging and will receive necessary training. Flexible working arrangements are available. Job description
Overview

A vacancy for a radiologist to join the paediatric radiology team across Oxfordshire to provide high quality paediatric imaging services and support the on-call service.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality diagnostic paediatric imaging services across the Trust.
  • Support the on-call arrangements and cross-site work with paediatric radiologists.
  • Develop subspecialty interests (e.g., paediatric interventional imaging) and participate in service improvement.
  • Be willing to work at any of the Trust’s locations as required; travel will be remunerated.

Organisation and environment

The Trust is a tertiary paediatric referral centre with a large neonatal unit and paediatric intensive care. The service is delivered at the Horton and Oxford Hospitals. The Radiology Directorate supports flexible working arrangements and home-reporting workstations to support on-call provision and elective specialist reporting.
