Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities
  • To provide a high-quality, efficient, and evidence-based Child and Adolescent Psychiatry service in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary colleagues. The post holder will primarily deliver mental health care and undertake neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people within the Neurodevelopmental CAMHS care pathway. In addition, they will work flexibly across core mental health pathways to support ongoing CAMHS transformation within CPFT.
  • The service accepts referrals from the Peterborough and South Lincolnshire areas in line with national guidance. The post holder is expected to comply with local and national directives for managed medical personnel and ensure full adherence to NHS and Trust policies, and provide medical leadership to the North Neurodevelopmental CAMHS (Autism and learning disability) team within the Integrated Children’s Service, working closely with Consultant colleagues in CAMHS and Paediatrics, CAMHS MDTs and alongside Managers.
