A leading mental health service provider in Grimsby is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist. This role is pivotal in leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring high-quality care for patients with developmental disorders. You will act as the Responsible Clinician / Consultant Psychiatrist for inpatients at the service. You will have CCT/specialist expertise in Learning Disability or Forensic psychiatry and experience of working with and leading multidisciplinary teams.
As the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in assessment, risk management, treatment planning, and timely discharge of service users, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with the Mental Health Act (MHA), relevant NICE guidance, and local and national standards.
Bradley Complex Care provides a specialist service for adults living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental illness or personality disorder. They may be detained under the Mental Health Act.
The environment is a unique element of the service at Bradley Complex Care. We provide care in a range of small, shared gender‑specific or single person apartments. This allows the treatment and rehabilitation programme to be delivered in a domestic environment which replicates community living more closely. These settings also allow bespoke care to be delivered for the individual. Service users have established care pathways and are well supported by a full complement of multidisciplinary team.
You will be joining an established multidisciplinary team and wider network of Consultants in Elysium. The hospital has excellent transport links and is in close proximity to amenities in the region.
