A public health organization is seeking a Consultant in Palliative Medicine based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The role offers full or part-time options, leading a Consultant ward round and contributing to crucial meetings while providing critical support to healthcare professionals. Successful candidates will hold GMC Specialist Registration and demonstrate strong skills in Medical Oncology, teaching, and leadership in quality improvement. Competitive remuneration between £110,240 and £160,951 annually, pro rata.
This is a substantive, NHS Consultant post with an option to work full or part time hours inWrexham Maelor Hospital.
The North Wales Specialist Palliative Care service is constantly evolving and this post, in conjunction with existing posts, will strengthen the Palliative Medicine Consultant team sitting within the Department of Palliative Care. The post holder will work closely with Palliative Medicine Consultants across North Wales supported by a number of Speciality Doctors and the Specialist Nursing Team.
