A leading healthcare provider in Sheffield is seeking to appoint up to 3 full-time Consultant Histopathologists. The role offers an opportunity to work across subspecialties, including Breast and Gynaecological pathology. Candidates at all stages of their consultant career are welcomed, particularly those trained in digital reporting. Consultant Opportunities in Histopathology

The South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Pathology (SYBP) Partnership is hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and delivers clinical laboratory services to 5 Partner Trusts across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw.

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals is seeking to appoint to the following consultant post:

  • Up to 3 FTE Consultant Histopathologists. We particularly welcome interests in Breast, Gynaecological, Uropathology, Neuropathology, Haematopathology, Dermatopathology, although other subspecialist areas can be accommodated. These posts will be primarily based in Sheffield, with potential support for services in Doncaster or Rotherham as part of our laboratory consolidation programme.

SYB Histopathology is progressing towards primary digital reporting, and applications from digitally trained pathologists are encouraged. We welcome candidates at all stages of their consultant career—from newly qualified to highly experienced specialists.
