Job description

Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for an experienced General Adult Consultant, based at Middlesbrough area in the inpatient ward.

Mon-Fri 9-5 (potential optional 8-4 with one day remote working)

To cover 2 wards, 10 clinical PA

Each Consultant will have 12-16 patients under their caseload (combined both wards or single on one ward based on preference)

To work alongside Consultant colleagues including Senior Registrar / Psychologists / ward nursing staff and Specialty doctors.

Assessment, formulation and management of a range of patients presenting to the acute psychiatric ward

Presence at daily MDT report out meetings

Completion of 24 hr patient reviews

Attendance at formulation, review and discharge planning meetings

MHA work including tribunal reports, MHA assessments

Provision of support to leadership team and trainee doctors
