A leading NHS mental health service provider is seeking a Consultant Psychologist to lead the cognitive impairment pathway for older people in Leeds. This part-time, permanent role involves providing clinical leadership, supervision, and strategic development within the service. Candidates should possess a doctorate in clinical psychology, relevant experience with dementia, and demonstrate strong teaching and leadership skills. We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Consultant Psychologist who is passionate about the delivery of excellent psychological services to the Older People of Leeds. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cognitive impairment pathway which spans several teams across our Older People's Service, and will provide clinical leadership that helps deliver high quality neuropsychological assessment for people living with dementia, as well as the delivery of dementia related interventions. They will work alongside two OPS Consultant Psychologists to provide the leadership of the overall OPS Psychological Professional Group, representing the group at forums such as the OPS Senior Leadership Team, Clinical and Operational Governance groups as appropriate.
