Work is underway to establish Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) services that include medical and surgical assessment, ambulatory care and frailty services. These posts offer a unique opportunity to help plan and develop an integrated SDEC service from an early stage. The department will work closely with primary care and community services to improve patient care. You must be a capable senior decision-maker supporting rapid patient assessment, post-take ward rounds, streaming to appropriate pathways, and initiation of treatment. There may be opportunities for specialty sessions. Applicants may request less than full-time work or job sharing.
