Job description
Overview

Provide a high quality, safe and compassionate care to the acutely ill medical patients admitted to our hospital and provide them the best possible experience during their admission.

Responsibilities
  • Active participation in Trust Clinical Governance activities, including audit, mortality review, and appraisal process. The appointee will ensure data collection and processing undertaken is consistently accurate and timely and complies with the Trust Data Quality Policy and Information Governance procedures.
  • Teaching, training and supervision of doctors, nurses, and students in order to promote a positive and supportive atmosphere.
  • Responsible to keep a record of Continuous Professional Development (CPD), including Trust Mandatory training process.
  • Will be responsible to engage in regular appraisal process for revalidation purposes.
  • Undertake activities, defined, and agreed in Job plan, using the adequate leadership skills to contribute for the achievement of the Trust and Department goals.
  • Develop and promote departmental clinical guidelines with colleagues, in line with evidence-based best practice.
