Location: NY Highways, Northallerton, DL7 8UQ | Hours: 40 per week (08:00 – 16:30) | Start Date: 05/01/2026 | End Date: ongoing | Pay Rates: £22.02 PAYE / £27.64 Umbrella

About the Client

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of planned maintenance projects across a diverse estate of public and commercial properties. This role involves supervising multi‑trade teams on site, ensuring health and safety compliance, and overseeing project delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day‑to‑day construction and highways maintenance activities.
  • Manage site documentation, resources, and contractor liaison.
  • Lead Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Line manage operatives and support their development.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience across multiple trades in property maintenance.
  • SMSTS, CSCS Manager’s Card, First Aid at Work, CITB MAP H&S Test.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (Children’s Barred List) required.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across North Yorkshire.
