A local government authority in the North East of England is seeking an experienced Specialist Surfacing Manager to oversee and manage surfacing projects from planning to completion. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure work is delivered on time and to high standards, and be responsible for budget and project management. This role supports career development and offers a hybrid working model.
The Role We are seeking an experienced Specialist Surfacing Manager to oversee and manage carriageway and footway surfacing projects from planning to completion. You will lead a team of skilled internal operatives and external sub-contractors ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
