Are you a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher looking to inspire pupils and make a real impact in Barnsley (S70, S71)?

GSL Education are seeking experienced Computer Science Teachers to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons and support pupils’ development in computing and digital technology.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Inspire pupils to develop practical and theoretical computing skills.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements for the role:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at school level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for motivating and inspiring young learners.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
