Job summary

A major Housing Association is seeking a Compliance Support Analyst to join their finance team in Kings Cross on a hybrid basis. The role entails improving compliance procedures, maintaining accurate records of compliance activities, and assisting in delivering workshops on compliance topics. Ideal candidates will be aspiring towards a recognised compliance qualification, have strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. This temporary position could lead to permanent employment for the right person, working 35 hours per week at competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

  • Aspiring to or actively studying towards an ICA recognised compliance qualification.
  • Knowledge of compliance principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to learn about compliance.

Job description
Overview

BDS are currently recruiting for a Compliance Support Analyst to work on a hybrid basis in the Kings Cross area within the finance team of a large well known Housing Association.

Responsibilities
  • Main duties will include but are not limited to;
  • Look at improving procedures, which roles move again, which role sit under Regime, managing that area
  • Assist the compliance lead in interpreting and applying SM&CR rules effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities and findings
  • Support internal audits by gathering necessary documentation and information.
  • Provide support to the compliance lead with delivering, compliance workshops such as anti-money laundering, anti-fraud etc.
  • Supporting the generation of papers and data for various committees within
  • Manage the compliance calendar in place to facilitate all external submissions, support with new entries, old entries maintenance – which entries are overdue, collect and analyse and inform EB’s of deadlines.
  • Gather data, meet with action owners and check documents are up to date.
Qualifications
  • aspiring to or actively studying towards an ICA recognised compliance qualification.
  • Knowledge of compliance principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements
  • Willingness to learn, have a concept of compliance, not specifically the housing sector
  • Have a good eye for detail and the information recorded goes to high level
  • Be able to speak to people, e.g
  • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of D365 and Power BI preferred stakeholders and colleagues and be approachable

3 days a week, Tues, Weds and Thurs office based - 2 days from home

Start and end date – ASAP, potential temp to perm for the right person – initially 3 months

Working hours / times : 9am to 5pm – 35 hours a week

Pay rate; £18.86ph PAYE- £24.95ph UMB
