Job summary

A recruitment agency in the building sector is looking for an experienced Compliance & Sub Contractor Manager to oversee subcontractors in a healthcare environment. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain critical services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical services and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in CAFM systems and SharePoint is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Job description

Are you an experienced professional in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services with a strong background in managing subcontractors? Daniel Owen work agency are looking for a Compliance & Sub Contractor Manager to join our team and lead critical operational activities within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Sub Contractors on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations and adherence to contract terms.

  • Review CAFM PPM System to plan subcontractor attendance, ensuring all work is completed on schedule.

  • Coordinate Site Access & Works to minimise disruption to clinical services and ensure patient care remains unaffected.

  • Review RAMS & H&S Documentation before site works commence to ensure all Health & Safety regulations are met.

  • Liaise with Internal Stakeholders & Site Management to schedule works, coordinating with internal UHL stakeholders and site management.

  • Ensure Statutory Compliance with HTM (Health Technical Memorandum) standards and regulations.

  • Document Reports from Subcontractors to ensure clear, concise, and accurate record-keeping.

  • Organise Online Documentation for seamless information management and easy access for stakeholders.

  • Conduct Inspections & Due Diligence vetting of subcontractors to ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.

  • Update Records in SharePoint and related compliance systems, maintaining up-to-date project data.

  • Lead Audits preparation, review, and presentation of documents for required compliance audits.

Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in managing subcontractors, ideally within M&E services.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, HTMs, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience in healthcare or critical environments where disruption needs to be minimised.
  • Proficiency in CAFM systems and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and documentation skills
