Duration: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week - 9am - 5pm

We are seeking a Compliance and Quality Engineer for our Huntingdon based client. The successful engineer will ensure the business maintains required certifications, manages QMS/HSE systems and remains compliant with evolving standards and legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate compliance across HSE, Quality, Supplier Assurance, data protection and accreditations.
  • Ensure processes meet regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Support material compliance with legal and customer standards.
  • Maintain Business Continuity documentation.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits and accreditations.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain HSE policies and systems.
  • Conduct HSE audits and drive improvements.
  • Manage COSHH and waste compliance.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quality, Industrial, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 2+ years in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with QA tools, software and processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective project management capability.
  • Knowledge of testing processes for complex electrical equipment.
  • ASQ certification (preferred).
  • Able to collaborate effectively across functions, particularly Production and Engineering.
  • Able to influence and engage others to drive quality outcomes.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with a focus on maintaining consistent quality standards.
