Compliance Officer – Northamptonshire (Hybrid)

£45,000 + benefit

Fourblue is partnering with a leading ICP (Independent Connection Provider) delivering high-quality infrastructure services across electricity, gas, and water. With expertise in installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and inspections, the team supports clients across sectors, including renewable energy and commercial developments.

They are now seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure projects are delivered safely, competently, and in line with company standards and accreditations. You\'ll oversee compliance, competency, and quality throughout the full project lifecycle, working closely with project teams, contractors, and senior management to meet statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee compliance across projects, ensuring alignment with company accreditations, documentation, and work packages
  • Monitor and check project deliverables from design to construction, ensuring all stages meet required standards
  • Support project teams in managing competency records, training, and qualifications.
  • Conduct audits, site inspections, and checks to maintain compliance with industry standards
  • Ensure contractors and suppliers comply with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and manage industry accreditations, including assisting with client prequalification questionnaires (PQQs)
  • Produce reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to drive continual improvement in compliance practices
Criteria

\'You\'ll be a confident, detail-oriented compliance professional. Ideally, you will have experience working with WIRS, NERS, and GIRS accreditations, and a solid understanding of the full project lifecycle oversight.\'

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years\' compliance experience in the utility or related sector
  • Experience managing compliance across full project lifecycles from design to construction
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to influence and advise teams at all levels
  • NEBOSH qualifications or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Experience in competency management and training coordination (Desirable)
  • Exposure to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards (Desirable)
