Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career in compliance, but do not wish to be exposed to a high level of stress normally associated with a key person status. The role is a Compliance Officer within the General Insurance Sector. It will involve leading and supporting a small compliance department in a medium-sized company, which provide insurance services to predominantly low risk individuals and businesses in the CI.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach, strong knowledge of risk management and the JFSC regulatory framework.
  2. A high commitment to process improvement and the ability to influence at all levels in understanding the importance of the role are essential.
  3. It is expected that the post holder will also become the designated MLRO and MLCO of the organisation once established.
  4. Ideally, you will hold an ICA Diploma in Compliance and/or AML and have several years of previous insurance or fiduciary experience.
  5. Applicants must hold a local residential qualification or have lived in Jersey continuously for at least the last 5 years.
