LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT

We’re looking for a dedicated Compliance Lead (DSEAR) to join our Health, Safety and Security team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the management of Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) compliance across the Severn Trent Group.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of DSEAR compliance systems and processes
  • Manage hazardous area risk assessments, technical reviews, and compliance documentation
  • Oversee third‑party contractors for inspections, remedial works, and technical drawings
  • Collaborate with operational teams, engineering, and safety specialists
  • Drive a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Manage budgets and ensure timely delivery of compliance programmes
  • Lead the DSEAR Community of Practice and support training development

You’ll be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You’ll work within our Health, Safety, Security and Wellbeing team. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.
