A Leading Global Insurer is seeking a Compliance Business Partner for its Specialty arm. This role involves providing regulatory guidance, participating in governance meetings, and designing compliant policies. Candidates should have Compliance experience within the London Market and a strong understanding of the FCA Handbook. Salary is up to £90,000 pa plus bonus and benefits.

  • Experience in Compliance within the London Market, gained through roles at either an insurer or a broker.
  • Extensive understanding of the FCA Handbook, including its Principles, Rules, and Guidelines.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a pragmatic approach to applying regulatory requirements.

Lutine Bell are currently supporting a Leading Global Insurer looking to appoint a Compliance Business Partner into their Specialty arm of the business, working closely with the Head of Compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for regulatory and governance matters, offering clear guidance and direction to the business.
  • Participate in regular business and governance meetings, delivering Compliance updates on regulatory changes, emerging risks, key topics, and required actions.
  • Collaborate with the business to design and implement effective policies and procedures that ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.
  • Provide informed Compliance advice and constructive challenge on business or functional risks, including during the development of new business models, products, or operational processes.
  • Foster open and transparent communication between Compliance and the business, ensuring timely updates on ongoing Compliance initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Compliance within the London Market, gained through roles at either an insurer or a broker
  • Extensive and in-depth understanding of the FCA Handbook, including its Principles, Rules, and Guidelines
