Compliance Analyst
Bristol | Up to £35k + benefits

We're currently working with a fabulous leading national law firm, with a strong international client presence. They're currently looking to expand their compliance function bringing in an Analyst into the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with prior legal compliance experience, ideally across business acceptance, to join a fast-growing function with clear opportunities for progression.

The Role
  • Running conflict checks on new matters using Intapp Conflicts, flagging risks and working with Partners to decide the best course of action.
  • Making sure the firm stays in line with SRA/Law Society guidance, as well as client and internal rules.
  • Keeping client information confidential while acting as the go-to person for conflict/Business Acceptance queries.
  • Helping teams understand and follow business acceptance processes.
  • Reviewing CDD/AML documents, spotting what’s missing and escalating complex cases when needed.
  • Checking source of funds/wealth before the firm receives any transactional money.
  • Keeping ongoing AML reviews up to date and consistent with what we know about our clients.
  • Using company databases and verification tools to run checks on clients and related parties.
About you
  • 1+ year experience in legal compliance
  • Experience in AML / KYC / CDD
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage your own time efficiently
