Job summary

A well-known compliance consultancy is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for a fully remote role. You will support various compliance tasks, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure compliance across financial promotions and customer communications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Regulatory Compliance, particularly within an insurance setting, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ICOBS regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to assess and communicate regulatory changes.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Compliance with various compliance tasks.
  • Provide compliance advice and oversight.
  • Support the onboarding and monitoring of intermediaries.

That’s what’s on offer with this established, niche dual-regulated (FCA & PRA) insurer.

This is a fully remote role. You can work from home every day.

Sitting within 2nd line, you’ll support the Head of Compliance with Compliance Advice, Monitoring, Conduct Risk oversight, Data Protection and SMCR.

You’ll help identify, assess and communicate the impact of regulatory and legislative changes and work with the business to implement any required changes.

You’ll provide compliance support and sign-off for financial promotions, customer communications and literature as well as providing advisory support to the business.

You’ll conduct compliance monitoring reviews in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including control testing.

In addition, you’ll support the wider Risk and Compliance function, especially with the onboarding and monitoring of intermediaries.

You’ll have already gained Regulatory Compliance experience, preferably within an insurance firm, and therefore be familiar with ICOBS regulations.

You’ll possess an analytical mindset, a curious nature and a willingness to learn and develop. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this role.
