Position: Clinical Lead – Complex Care
Location: Somerset, Bristol region
Salary: £48,000 plus bonus for mobilisation of packages

Summary:
An experienced Clinical Lead is required to oversee the delivery and governance of complex care services in community settings. This role ensures safe, effective, and person-centred care for individuals with varied and high-acuity health needs. The position involves regional clinical leadership, staff competency development, and quality assurance, with flexibility to respond to both client and service demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage new complex care packages.
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, and ongoing clinical reviews.
  • Lead audits, medication reviews, and compliance checks.
  • Provide clinical supervision and sign-off for registered nurses.
  • Support a wide range of conditions, including: ventilation, tracheostomy, neurological injuries, paediatrics, end-of-life care, long-term health conditions.
  • Ensure frontline care staff are skilled in clinical and personal care tasks.
  • Engage with MDTs and internal teams to maintain clinical standards.
  • Participate in staff training, spot checks, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN.
  • Background in community-based complex care.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and audit skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel regularly.
  • Excellent communication and IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
