Join Our Team as a Waking Night Complex Care Support Worker - Make a Real Difference!

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Reading, Berkshire.

Pay: £19.02 per hour weekdays/Saturdays, £21.48 Sundays

Hours: Up to 24 per week (Nights, 20:00 - 06:00)

About the Role

You'll be supporting a young lady in her teens who has complex needs due to a brain injury, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, global developmental delay and tracheostomy care. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

She lives at home with her family and enjoys musicals, all things Disney, Peppa Pig and noisy toys. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

What We're Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we're seeking a female support worker with:

  • A genuine passion for care and making a difference
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
  • Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You'll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.
