Job summary

A group of companies in the industrial services sector in North East England is looking for a Company Accountant to support the CFO and team. Responsibilities include ensuring financial accuracy and preventing fraud, while ideally possessing strong Excel skills and accounting software competence. This role is integral in producing monthly and year-end financial figures, and ensuring alignment with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be part qualified or have relevant experience.
• Experience from both private practice and industry is a plus.
• Ability to produce and present accurate financial information.

Due to increased workload and expansion of the Finance Department, a Company Accountant is required to work closely with the CFO and more junior members of the team to ensure production of high quality, accurate information.
