We haveCommunity Staff Nursepositions available within the team, based in YeovilOur service covers the urban and rural areas of East South Somerset. The shifts include dayshifts and are usually 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm. You'll also work one twilight shift per week (2pm-10pm) and one in three weekends which include additional unsocial hours enhanced payments. There areno night shifts. We offer flexible working solutions where possible to ensure a work-life balance and part-time hours will be considered.You'll need to be a car driver with your own vehicle to visit patients.We offer a generous mileage allowance to cover the use of your car for NHS business, which includes both mileage and depreciation.If you're a qualified RN looking for a rewarding challenge to advance your nursing career, join our friendly, and highly skilled team of nurses and support staff. Main duties of the job

As a community RN, you'll provide care to patients in their homes, managing a range of complex health issues and collaborating with various other disciplines.You'll develop a broad range of nursing skills, including IV medication administration, palliative and end-of-life care, complex wound management, catheter and continence care, diabetes management, PICC line care, medication administration, and drain tube management.You'll need to make autonomous clinical decisions and create holistic care plans, with the support of your colleagues and Team Leaders. Comprehensive training and guidance will be provided by our two dedicated Clinical Lead nurses.

Job responsibilities

Work closely with the Team Leader coordinating the community nursing teams off duties to meet the needs of the community nursing service/workload.

Ensuring all loans of equipment are appropriate and reviewed regularly

Working in partnership with other health care professionals and agencies

Encouraging client independence and empowerment, recognising and respecting their involvement in the planning and delivery of their care
