A community healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join its Community Nursing teams in Brighton & Hove. The role requires delivering high-quality care, participating in team support and development, and effectively communicating with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about community work and possess a valid driving license. Full training and support will be provided for those new to community nursing, making it a perfect opportunity for newly qualified nurses.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our Community Nursing teams in Brighton & Hove Central locality Team. We are proud of the quality holistic care we provide to the population of Brighton and Hove and focus on self-management with patients using a proactive care approach. The team work closely with a multidisciplinary network of health, social, and third sector staff including Specialist Nurses, hospitals, hospices and GP surgeries. This post is ideal for somebody who would like the opportunity to experience community work or develop their interests in the community setting further. The role incorporates the day to day management of patients within the community under the supervision of the Community Sisters and charge nurses and Clinical Lead, involving a variety of skills including wound care, continence management, palliative care, health promotion, venepuncture, IV therapy and more. Training will be available and candidates will be supported with an induction and a personal development plan. Full support will be given to those without community experience to gain the necessary skills required. We would also welcome newly qualified nurses who will be fully supported with preceptorship. We are a supportive and forward-thinking team with clinical direction provided by a Clinical Lead, overseen by the Operational Team Lead and the Deputy Operational Head of Service for Brighton and Hove. You must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The team use SystmOne mobile working. You must hold a full driving licence and have the use of a car for work purposes.
