Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated senior nurse to lead the teams that form the Hinckley and Bosworth Hub, in the role of Community Service Matron.

We are looking for a forward thinking, creative individual with a can do attitude. You must be clinically competent and have proven operational and clinical leadership skills, with a desire to ensure that the workforce you lead delivers the highest standards of care to all patients.

You will have up to date knowledge of the current national and local agendas and a comprehensive understanding of the clinical priorities for the service.

You will be required to work flexibly and be adaptable to accommodate a challenging and changing environment.

You will work collaboratively alongside the Operational Lead, Deputy Heads / Head of Nursing and other senior leaders within the Community Health Services directorate.

You will participate with multi-agency partners to create development opportunities to meet the changing health needs of the population.

You will be supported to transition into the role by the wider matron team. A development plan will be created with you to enable your progression and ongoing professional development.

It is an essential requirement that you have a car for work use and have a UK driving licence.
