Job summary

A healthcare organization in Cowes seeks a Paramedic to provide patient care in the community, primarily for housebound patients. Qualifications

  • Completed two-year consolidation learning period as a newly qualified paramedic with further 3 years at Band 6.
  • Working towards developing master's level or equivalent capability.
  • Experience working to protocols and excellent clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to housebound patients for acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Assess, diagnose and treat patients for medical conditions.
  • Support vaccination programmes for housebound patients.

Skills

Excellent communication skills
Good keyboard skills & Microsoft office
Ability to manage time and workload effectively
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to build therapeutic working relationships

Education

Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
Full UK driving licence
