Job summary

A leading health service provider in the UK is seeking a Community Mental Health Nurse to join their Assertive Outreach Team. This role involves providing clinical expertise to support patients with complex mental health needs within a collaborative environment. Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration.
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience with service users with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical nursing expertise to the Assertive Outreach team.
  • Manage a defined assertive outreach caseload.
  • Ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act and relevant policies.

Skills

Effective communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of physical healthcare needs

Education

Registered Nurse Mental Health (RNMH)
Current NMC Registration
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Mentor Qualification / ENB 998 or equivalent
