Job description

This post will involve working within a community nursing team visiting patients within their own homes. The successful applicant will:

  • Assess, implement and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically effective way whilst maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity.
  • Provide the delivery of high-quality care and actively support the District Nurse in the management of the health care environment.
  • As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.
  • Community Health Assistant duties include wound care, catheter care and administration of injections.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our Bolsover DN Team!

Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in health and social care is desirable.
  • A good standard of English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is required, along with excellent communication skills.
  • Access to and ability to use transport within the North East Derbyshire locality is essential.
