Overview

To provide safe holistic care to patients within the Community Dental Service and work within the team to improve integrated, high quality service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Gained experience in a broad range of clinical skills in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, paediatric dentistry, community or special care dentistry.
  • Confident in managing patients with these dental procedures and additional needs.
  • Adaptable, motivated, and comfortable working across sites with a variety of professional colleagues.
  • Ability to manage patients under conscious sedation desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Provide a full oral examination and treatment plan for patients of all ages who appropriately access the Newcastle Community Dental Service for advice or treatment.
  • Provide and maintain a high standard of comprehensive dental care.
  • Provide emergency treatment where necessary either as sole treatment or part of a planned course of treatment.
