Duties
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Administer medication in accordance with care plans and medical guidelines
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans regularly
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well‑being
  • Manage behaviour effectively using appropriate techniques and strategies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients experiencing dementia or other health conditions
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Support clients' family members through case management and communication
