Job summary

A dedicated care organization is seeking individuals with a caring nature to provide personal care to service users in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meals, and medication, while offering companionship. This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. No prior experience is needed as full training is provided. Join our compassionate care team and help people live comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Previous care experience is welcome but not essential.

  • Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting hygiene.
  • Assisting with meals, drinks, and light household tasks.
  • Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
  • Prompting or administering medication as per care plans.
  • Observing and reporting changes in wellbeing.
  • Travelling between service users in Swadlincote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
  • Travelling between service users within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
  • Working weekend shifts only as part of a rota
