Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across southern Havering
- Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases
- Provide guidance and supervision to the team
- Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota (frequency is 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement, pro-rata)
- Support peers and the team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing others to work with their own initiative
- Work alongside 1wte consultants, 1wte Specialist Doctor, and 1wte trainee doctor within the service
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies
