A nonprofit organization specializing in dementia support is seeking volunteers to assist individuals with dementia during community activities in Rotherham. You will help reduce social isolation and foster meaningful connections. Ideal candidates should demonstrate empathy, commitment, and good communication skills. This is a flexible opportunity requiring a minimum age of 18 years.
We are passionate about promoting social inclusion for people living with dementia. We are looking for volunteers that will support people living with dementia to attend and participate in local pre-arranged social activities/groups.
This role will be crucial in helping people to stay connected and engaged with their communities and reduce social isolation.
We are looking for volunteers to support people living with a dementia diagnosis at community activities throughout the Borough of Rotherham. These may be luncheon clubs, activity groups and community events where they can meet new friends and become less socially isolated. The expectation would be to support them at a couple of activities each month.

This role will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Check from either the Disclosure and Barring Service (England & Wales), Disclosure Scotland Check (Scotland) or AccessNI (Northern Ireland).
