A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Officer for a full-time, temporary role in Greater London. The successful candidate will manage internal communication channels and develop engaging campaigns to inform and connect with 10,000 staff members. Candidates must possess excellent writing and partnership skills, and have proven experience in delivering effective communications within large organizations. The position requires on-site presence for at least three days a week, contributing to organic communication and engagement efforts.
We are seeking to appoint an Internal Communications Officer on a full-time basis (for four to six months) to join the Internal Communications Team.
We are looking for a first-class communicator to ensure our 10,000 staff members are informed and involved to help shape the future of our service. The Internal Communications Officer role is instrumental in keeping staff engaged and aware of campaigns and initiatives across the Council.
The post holder will be expected to:
The post holder will be responsible for managing the content on our internal communication channels, for example plasma screens, our intranet and newsletters. You will also be responsible for delivering campaigns and writing content, working with the Head of Internal Communications and Culture Change.
The post holder is expected to form excellent working relationships with relevant departments to help drive change in the organisation and to ensure all staff share our vision, are informed and have a voice. This will be supported through the post holder planning, delivering and evaluating internal campaigns.
