Overview

Communications Executive — Hybrid arrangement with attached to our London or Hook office; Full Time, Permanent. Band 5 / £30,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience)

Here at Serco, we're looking for a talented and proactive Communications Executive to join our Citizen Services business unit. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll work closely with the Communications Business Partner to deliver engaging internal communications that connect and inspire our people — while also helping to enhance and protect Serco's brand externally.

Responsibilities
  • Implement communication plans for internal and external projects/campaigns
  • Draft copy and proof-read a range of communication materials including leaflets, newsletters and brochures
  • Develop digital content for a range of channels including email, intranet and internal social media channels
  • Ensure all materials comply with business requirements and brand guidelines
  • Co-ordinate production with printers, designers and agents
  • Manage the administration of key communication tools
What you’ll need to do the role
  • Previous and proven experience of delivering internal and/or external communications
  • Good copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience of internal social media, digital content, event co-ordination and MS Office programmes
  • Good interpersonal skills and influencing ability
  • Desire to learn and develop — career progression is encouraged and supported
