We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious Commis Chef to join our dynamic team at Gilpin Spice, where the theatre of cooking meets the excitement of pan‑Asian cuisine. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Commis Chef
  • Works alongside our talented chefs to prepare and present dishes to the highest standards.
  • Learns new techniques and expands knowledge of spices, flavours, and global cuisines.
  • Supports the smooth running of the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and organisation with precision.
  • Contributes to a culture of teamwork, reliability, creativity, and excellence.

Additional Information

Salary: from £28,665 to £29,250

Gratuities are allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £240 to £550 per month.
