Commercial SME Broker / Trainee Account Executive – Leeds

This is a fantastic job opportunity, ideal for an ambitious insurance professional wanting genuine long-term career progression and a clear path towards a more senior role.

Our client is a highly respected independent chartered insurance brokerage based in the Leeds area, with appealing modern offices, plenty of parking and currently working on a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home basis. This role comes with an excellent basic salary, generous bonus (up to £6k per annum) and full benefits.

This really exciting job opening has various areas of responsibility and a clear path of progression. You will initially be dealing with smaller SME clients (all commercial), primarily dealing with incoming new business enquires, taking the risk information, building rapport with the clients etc.

As well as this you will support a more senior broker, assisting in dealing with larger and more complex clients (this will develop your technical knowledge), with the longer term goal of getting you into a client facing Account Executive positon.

Ideal applicants will have previous commercial insurance experience, either broker or insurer based and with a reasonable knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. This role requires a dynamic individual who enjoys speaking to clients and is happy to be involved in sales and new business generation.

Previous use of Acturis would be advantageous and a willingness to study towards CII qualifications.
